My darling Cenus -
Darling it seems almost a year since I've seen you and it's only been two months. But my I have been going since then. Wish I could tell you you exactly where we are and what we are doing but guess I had better not attempt it. However I will say that I am not having so much work at the present but it is to come soon. I was every fortunate in getting transferred. There are five or six fellows in my platoon from Dadeville vicinity. They all seemed glad to see me and I am very glad to be with them. They have already been through the worst of it all and I had rather risk getting through safely with them, than with a bunch I fellows that have not had so much experience.
Hope I will hear from you soon. How are you getting along? Certainly hope you are well. I am feeling fine.
With lots of love from your husband, Edgar
